We all have that friend/classmate in school who loves to sing/dance and knows every movie known to existence or you may have that friend/classmate that sits in the corner and reads almost half the books in the library. That’s where the argument begins! I would say that I’m that kid in the corner reading, but you might be the movie lover. My opinion is that books are a million times better. I believe that because books open up your imagination and it also improves vocabulary. I asked every person in Journalism asking which is better and the majority of people said books, but one person said their half and half. I then asked them why they think books are better. They said that it overall improves your sense of being aware in life. They also said it’s much more detailed than movies. One example of why books are better than movies is the book The Giver. The Giver was a book the entire 6th grade read in English. We read the book and saw the movie. I asked everyone in my class and they all preferred the book.
