Dealing with Anxiety

Hey guys, gals, and non-binary pals! We’re going to be talking about Anxiety today. The scientific definition of Anxiety: Anxiety is an emotion characterized by feelings of tension, worried thoughts and physical changes like increased blood pressure. People with anxiety disorders usually have recurring intrusive thoughts or concerns. They may avoid certain situations out of worry. I have anxiety and like many other people, I don’t really like it. Anxiety just adds another layer of stress to your life. It sounds scary, right? You’re wrong. Very incorrect. Anxiety is really nothing to be afraid of, but it does sound, well just stressful. Anxiety is very common now and if you have it, don’t be afraid to speak about it. You are not alone. If you think you want to talk to someone, talk to a person you trust or even a therapist can help you. Dealing with Anxiety can be difficult, and you might have it for your whole life but make the best of it. Breathing exercises can be helpful and if you do the right research, you can learn to deal with your own Anxiety and just, live with it. Don’t let it hold you down. You can be who you want to be. I may be able to help you a bit. Let’s do a breathing exercise.
